High Pass Challenge

Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010

On Sunday, Sept. 12, 600 riders will embark on a challenging event, leading them through the beautiful Gifford Pinchot National Forest, including the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. Starting from Packwood, Washington, cyclists will climb over 7,500 feet in elevation gain over 114 miles. The halfway point is at scenic Windy Ridge, overlooking the Mount St. Helen's blast zone.

Registration is limited to 600 cyclists. Don't delay, register today for this exclusive High Pass Challenge, part of Cascade Bicycle Club's High Performance Cycling group.

2009 Results:

  • 538 total riders: 59 female; 479 male
  • First rider finished at 12:47 p.m., at an elapsed time of 5 hours, 47 minutes
  • First female rider finished at 1:40 p.m., at an elapsed time of 6 hours, 40 minutes
  • Gold medalists (before 2 p.m.) - 112
  • Silver medalists (2 - 4 p.m.) - 284
  • Bronze medals (4 - 5 p.m.) - 53
