Join us for the biggest Tour de France-inspired festival on the West Coast! This annual family-friendly event is a great occasion for relaxing with your family or ride buddies over a picnic. For one day a year, we close down a block within the park and throw one heck of a bike party. In addition to the food court, beer garden and other popular regular Cyclefest features, we have lined up some new elements to make this the blockbuster bicycling event of the summer!
New this year, BikeMania is partnering with Cyclefest and Manguson Community Center to bring you an afternoon of exciting youth bike games, riding and entertainment. This schedule of events will be followed by the annual outdoor showing of a Tour de France stage.
This year BikeMania will include a high-flying BMX stunt show by top pro rider Nick Halsey and crew, a Wheelie Fun Course with crazy obstacles, Bike Carnival Games with lots of prizes, a treasure hunt and a bike parade. Kids (and parents) can take on the Tour de Magnuson route through the park. Outdoors For All will be at the event offering some adaptive cycles for kids to try. All kids should bring a bike (and helmet), and their parents or guardians must sign waivers. BikeMania questions can be directed to Kat Sweet.
Following BikeMania, Cyclefest Outdoor Cinema makes its return to the park. This year’s mountain top finish on the legendary Col de Tourmalet promises to be a doozy - and probably the last chance to see Lance Armstrong in action. The rebroadcast of Stage 17 will begin at dusk - about 9:15 p.m.

- Hear commentators extraordinaire Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen make the call on our four-speaker surround sound system.

- Eat at one of our two fabulous food booths or bring your own family picnic.
- Browse at our many fun vendor booths for cool stuff.
- Win a Lapierre top-of-the-line bicycle and other great prizes by purchasing a drawing ticket.
