Redmond Enacts Complete Streets Ordinance

With inspiration and technical assistance from the Cascade Bicycle Club, Redmond has become the latest Puget Sound area city to enact complete streets legislation. Through the City Council’s unanimous vote on September 4th, 2007, the home of Microsoft joined a growing wave of communities who are enshrining their commitment to consistent bicycle and pedestrian access in law.

Bellevue looking to cyclists as it updates bike plan

The Bellevue Department of Transportation is looking to you to help them decide which routes and locations will be part of its Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation Plan update. Cascade Bicycle Club has set up a photo-sharing website where you can upload pictures of Bellevue bike facilities you like, facilities you don’t like, and areas where you think accommodations should be installed.
